Cold as metal, pierce my soul.
I'm alone, all alone outside.
A sheet of ice forms between me and you,
frosted feelings keep us apart.
I'm alone, all alone outside.
The bitter cold is tearing at my seams,
as I'm falling to earth,
and grab at air, at shifting mists,
only to see it flee from my own desperate grasp.
Emotions gone, frozen then shattered,
left only with pain I reach the wall.
I place my hand upon the growing ice,
peer through only to find,
a receding haze of warmth.
Warmth of life.
Receding.
All is still and quiet,
serenity mocks my internal chaos,
as my eyes shut themselves, never to open aAll Alone Outside by ~The-Bloodied-Shadow

Faith in the Fall -Faith in the Fall-

Fear not for the pain you will go through,
fear not for what has not yet been lost,
fear not for what has yet to occur.
Let go of dreams and aspirations,
be supported not by hopes and promises
but by what you now possess.
Let go of what materiality you still clutch.
Relish the feeling of the fall from stress,
lose yourself in the lack of fear for you know
your soul will be caught by the gust of impartial time.
The soft caress of anonymity,
healing the festering wounds of doubt and substance.
